Murano glass necklace with green, black and ivory snake, with silver reflections given by a silver leaf fused to the glass.
20 strands of original Murano glass beads from the 1960s, very small (1.5 mm) with metal effect, handcrafted by hand using special needles.
The snake is about 10 cm high and was created with the lampwork technique, then embellished with a silver leaf that gives the object greater shine.
Conteria beads were among the most produced in Murano in the past and among the most exported anywhere in the world. Unfortunately they have not been produced in Murano for about 35 years, so being able to still work with the original ones is a great privilege. A lucky few still have warehouse stocks and I would like to thank IncantoMurano here for making theirs available for the creation of this necklace.
Necklace length about 90 cm
Colors may slightly vary due to different monitor settings.
