This is a crew-neck necklace with light blown Murano glass beads in transparent amethyst.
The blown tecnique at the torch has the basics of the furnace blown glass tecnique. The main difference is the heat surce. In the furnace we have a large kiln that keeps the glass molten and ready to be used. In the lampwork tecnique we only have a flame to melt a glass rod to gather the glass we need each time. We can say that in the lampwork tecnique the limit is the quantity of glass we can melt and so the size of our creations.
But to make these beads we don’t need a lot of glass. They are a tiny little and cute as shining soap bubbles. And in the semplicity of the transparent colors we can sight the essence of blown glass beads.
Each bead is almost 12mm in diameter and the necklace total lenght is 47cm.
The necklace is composed of blown beads and purple pink seedbeads .
As always, I remind you that my glass creations are heated in the kiln to guarantee their durability. In addition, the colors may vary slightly for the different settings of your monitor.
